A girl with a dream

As a young  child, every piece of fabric  that was colourful caught  my attention, having a mother as a designer made the dream of becoming  a fashion designer appear easy.  I always wondered if I was ever going to design as a child being a terrible artist, at least  I made effort to make  Ankara dresses for my dolls "Tina&Jenifer" hmm... I guess that's  what I called them, feeling  like a badass seamstress then.  I had to give up on that dream, but as the saying goes true dreams don't fade away. Some years later, the passion for designing returned.  I was  still a terrible artist, my drawings were "hu-ugly" but then that just made me mix the two things I love the most, I described my designs by writing, that seemed weird but it was totally  possible because  then  I didn't forget the design and whenever I read what I wrote  down the image of the design became clearer

Anytime  I said "I design" I was asked for the design and I was unable to provide any sketched work, being a terrible artist. I had the idea so I had a strong believe  that I was a designer even though I didn't know how to draw. God sent an angel who  later assisted me by teaching  me the basic aspect of designing, designing  was something I never felt I was ever  going to be able to do "still learning though" . Skills and talents can be acquired when there is a great interest in learning about  the skill or talent. If you have an interest  in something always  make every effort to learn it or make it better, don't accept defeat, because  as a warrior you are totally more than a conqueror. My favorite  quote  is "success is you versus yourself" this is because in everything I do I decide to make myself better than I was and I don't  settle for less and I strongly  believe  that nothing  is impossible . Be in a competition with yourself  to learn that skill that seems impossible . I don't make clothes for dolls anymore but I make my designs for beautiful  ladies. Make your dream your reality.
